This recipe corresponds to a way of turning a typical dish around, because instead of baking, stewing or roasting your breasts, you can give them a completely sophisticated touch, following a few very simple steps. So we leave you with this delicious stuffed chicken breast recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • Half an onion
  • Olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt and pepper

the spinach

preparation:

  • This recipe is quite simple, you just have to take into account not to overdo the cooking time of the chicken, so that it does not get too dry.
  • To start, put the spinach to rest for a few minutes in a container with lemon water, in this way you will take away the bitter taste that some vegetables sometimes have. Leave it for about 10 minutes, then remove it, wash it well and reserve.
  • Fillet both breasts in two parts, make sure that the pieces are as flat as possible, add a few drops of olive oil and salt and pepper the breasts on both sides, reserve them for later. Proceed to chop the onion finely and reserve it in a container.
  • Heat two tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion for a few minutes, then add the garlic, spinach and cottage cheese. Taste the flavor and salt and pepper to your liking. Stir for a few minutes and remove everything from the heat to let it cool.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Take your breasts, spread them out and put a little of the mixture you just prepared, avoiding the edges. Roll up the breasts, hold them with a toothpick and, in the same pan in which you sautéed the filling, seal the chicken with a little oil.
  • In an appropriate baking dish, put your sealed breasts and put them in the oven, let the chicken cook for at least 15 minutes. Remember that you must monitor the cooking to prevent it from being dry or burning.
  • Once it is ready you can remove it from the heat and serve.

Additional tips:

  • Garlic tends to brown very quickly, so we recommend being very aware of its preparation when you add it to the pan, so that it does not brown too much.
  • To fillet the chicken, you must take the two portions that come out of the hemispheres of the breast and open them making a butterfly cut.
  • A good way to marinate the chicken is, after seasoning it, let it rest with a little white wine.
  • Sealing the chicken (lightly frying it all over) in this way will prevent the chicken from losing too much juices during baking.

Finally, remember that you can accompany the stuffed chicken breast with a good salad. Enjoy it!
