Ingredients

  • One onion
  • A green pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 bag of frozen squid (200 g)
  • 1 or 2 fish fillets for broth (200 g)
  • ⅔ cup of peas (100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika (5 g)
  • 4 cups of fish broth (1 liter)
  • ¾ cup fat noodles (150 g)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ glass of olive oil (100 ml)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water (as necessary)

Preparation

  • First, you have to finely chop the onion, peppers and garlic cloves. With these ingredients, make a sauce in a saucepan with the olive oil.
  • Once tender, add the chopped tomato and stir constantly. Let it fry for 10 minutes or, if applicable, until these products are cooked.
  • Meanwhile, bring  a saucepan of boiling salted water to a boil.
  • Clean the fish of skins and bones: the fish must be put clean in the soup. If you wish, in this casserole you can incorporate the bones of the fish or bones to give more flavor.
  • Next, add the sweet paprika to the sauce and stir. Immediately add the hot water to the sauce. If the spines or the skin were previously put into the water, you must incorporate the water with a wire rack. Thorns, skins, or bones cannot be added to the soup.
  • It’s time to add  the fish, frozen peas, and noodles. Simply, you have to cook for 8 or 10 minutes or until the noodles are perfectly cooked.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups of noodles (300 g)
  • 1 cup of lean pork (200 g)
  • 4 tablespoons of fried tomato (60 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of onion sofrito (15 g)
  • 1 green pepper
  • Garlic and parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of oil (15 ml)
  • Salt
  • Bones
  • Water (as necessary)

Preparation

  • First, brown the meat in a saucepan with olive oil.
  • Add the onion and finely chopped pepper and sauté. Stir constantly so it doesn’t burn.
  • To finish the sauce, add the fried tomato and sauté all the ingredients for a minute.
  • Meanwhile,  in a saucepan, cook the meat bones in water with salt. Once boiled for about 10 minutes, add the broth resulting from the sauce. Also add the garlic and parsley.
  • Increase the heat, add the noodles and let the resulting mixture boil for a few minutes.
  • Once boiled, cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
